Cordovado is located in the province of Pordenone (Friuli-Venezia Giulia).


The castle was built around the XI century to protect the land from the raids of Hungarians.

Its geographical location was considerable important becoming the summer residence and seat of the bishops of Concordia. There remain only two towers and part of the walls.

It ‘ been recognized as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.

The village of Cordovado offers long walks relaxing moment in the story.

In September, there is the magnificent historical commemoration, recalling the noble wedding took place in 1571 between Riccarda of Arcane and Franceco Ridolfi.
